Lead Foster Parent Recruiter

We are looking for a lead recruiter, a people-oriented person to work with those interested in becoming foster parents. This recruiter will build relationships with prospective foster parents, local businesses, churches, and community volunteers to implement an ongoing “boots on the ground” recruitment campaign to attract people interested in becoming foster parents and develop new recruiting strategies as well. 

Pay is $22 per hour with bonuses for mini-information sessions done in the community and for each person guided through the process from information session to application submission.

Overview
The role of a recruiter is to work with people who have an interest in becoming foster parents. The job is part-time, avg. 20 hours per week, and will require work on weekends and evenings almost every week, especially in the summer. We aim to recruit families who have the ability and desire to provide foster care to vulnerable youth.

Duties:

  • Keep track of the event calendar including applying for and making sure we attend aminimum of 24 event days per year.
  • Set up and tear down festivals unless otherwise scheduled
    • Must be able to lift 40+ lbs
  • Maintain the organization of the festival materials at the storage unit
    • Make sure the tent, sides, table coverings are dry and folded properly after each event
    • Report any damaged or missing items
  • Inform manager when low on any handout/swag materials
  • Input newsletter sign-ups from festivals into email marketing platform
