When the Monroe County Water Authority needed a contemporary communications platform to meet current customer expectations for quick, detailed, and effective information they hired Metrix Marketing to produce a new website.
Prior to developing the MCWA website, we conducted a communications audit of all MCWA communications materials and a branding session with key MCWA staff members to capitalize on the staffs’ knowledge of its products and service. Our staff merged what was gleaned in that branding session with their advertising experience to create a new MCWA brand identity for enterprise-wide implementation.
We applied the new brand identity first to the 2009 MCWA Annual Report and have been doing all of the MCWA Annual Reports since. Metrix also developed a website that organized expanded content and improved the MCWA image in the community. In 2013, this website won a Rochester Business Journal ‘Best of the Web’ award. Today, Metix continues to provide public relations assistance in times of crisis communications and other opportunities which inform customers of issues related to their local water supply.
